The Military Police Equipment Forum to be held on 17-19 May 2016

Start 17 May 2016 08:00
End 19 May 2016 16:00
The Military Police Equipment Forum (MPEF) constitutes another great opportunity for enhancing multinational collaboration. The event is organised by the NATO Military Police Centre of Excellence (NATO MP COE) in response to the Request for Support (RFS) sent by the German MP (Feldjaegers). The main aim to be achieved during this first meeting is to familiarise MP audience with variety of national specific military police equipment, as well as to develop the event as a working platform for information sharing.
Nowadays, within the ever-changing operating environment the need to prepare and acquaint military police with diverse equipment and technologies is becoming increasingly important.
on May 2016
The MPEF is the first event directly focused on facilitating cooperation among MP Community of Interest (COI) in the area of materiel utilized by the national MP formations. Current complex military and political situations proved that sharing experience in these matters is crucial, the initiative may result in bringing added value to military police capabilities, by establishing the floor for proper standardization of equipment and procedures as far as deployments are concerned.
The NATO MP COE proposes MPEF as an appropriate platform for discussion and exchanging knowledge on matters related to efficient and effective utilization of emerging technologies and modern equipment for the present and future military police requirements.  The participants are welcome both to present the MP equipment of their respective formations, focusing particularly on material and devices tested and proved in real-life and to share their ideas and experience on the subject.
Agenda
The event will start with national presentations related to MP applied equipment and possible specific MP armament projects (ongoing and already planned). Additionally, the static presentation of the Polish MP equipment and the German MP non-lethal weapons is to be demonstrated. Subsequently, the discussion panel is planned which would concern main means and future possibilities of sharing information on MP armaments, projects and future topics of interest. Detailed agenda is achievable upon request.
Requirements
Each participant is requested to deliver about a 15-minute presentation describing the MP equipment utilized in their respective formations with a particular focus on those devices which proved their functionality within specific MP activities.
