The ATLLF on “Police Ops” organized by the NATO MP COE is planned to take place on the NATO MP COE premises in  Bydgoszcz, Poland on 12 - 15 May 2015.

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Location

NATO Military Police Centre of Excellence, ul. Szubińska 105,
85-915 Bydgoszcz, Poland.

2. Forum timing

The forum starts on 12th May (arrival day, hosted ice-breaker at 19:00) and finishes on 15th May at 12:30, local time.

3. Participants

Participants attending the Annual Tactical Lessons Learned Forum on “Police Ops” should be officers or senior non-commissioned officers possessing experience in MP activities relating to Police Ops and ought to be empowered to fully represent the views of their respective nation or NATO organisation.

4. Aim

The aim of hereby Annual Tactical Lessons Learned Forum on “Police Ops” is to promote continued interoperability amongst NATO Forces, more particularly within the MP community, by capturing best practices
and lessons learned.

5. Objectives

Convene “Police Ops” subject matter experts or personnel having had recent experience in Police Ops to share actual mission achievements whether they be within a NATO or a national context. This is to include experience of the NATO Multinational MP Battalion;
Provide to the Forum members a current doctrinal appreciation
on the employment of MP in Police Ops.  Deliver an update on how current NATO doctrine perceives the MP employment in Police Ops.  This should form the basis from which discussions should stem from;
Identify deficiencies in current NATO doctrine;
Capture best practices and lessons learned;
Challenge an attempt to formulate future MP plans for Police Ops by referring to problems identified;
Determine MP vision as for focusing on their efforts with respect to Police Ops;
Make recommendations for the production of a Lessons Learned Report.

7. Security

The Forum will be held in an unclassified area;
The security classification for this event will be NATO UNCLASSIFIED/Releasable to PfP;
No external devices (mobile phones, laptops, iPads etc.) are allowed during the meeting. There is an opportunity to leave them and secure
in the safe boxes.


8. Registration


It is mandatory to confirm an attendance by returning a completed “Joining Report”. Here is  Joining Report to be downloaded and after being filled in, it must be sent to the OPR for further registration purpose. Please provide us with a completed JR form by sending it to the OPR lukasz.waga@mpcoe.org no later than 20 April 2015.

10. Transportation


No transport support from/to airports;
Details concerning possible transportation are available in Admin Info (annex 4 to Invitation Letter).
     

11. Conference fee


200 PLN for Sponsoring Nations (Poland as the Framework Nation, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands
and Romania) and 400 PLN for Non-sponsoring Nations. The respective fee will be collected during the In-processing. We accept only PLN in cash.

13. Meals


At one’s own costs. It is proposed to dine at the “DEDAL” Restaurant that is housed at the IKAR HOTEL. Please specify it in the Joining Report
by marking a day you wish to have lunch for 30 PLN (approx. 8 EUR).
The meal charge will be collected separately on the first day of the event (cash only). In case you have special food requirements (diet etc.) please include details in your Joining Report (under “Applicant’s additional needs–Other”).

14. Dress code


Daily service uniform;
Smart casual for social event.

Prior to the Forum, participants attending the Annual Tactical Lessons Learned Forum on “Police Ops” need to be familiar with reference documents (please upload, without password protection, the files
