We are pleased to invite you to the Operational Detention Forum 2024 (ODF-24) that is taking place at the Andersia Hotel, Poznań, Poland on 17 − 20 June 2024. The said event is organised and hosted by the NATO Military Police Centre of Excellence (NATO MP COE) in collaboration with the 1 Military Police Brigade.

In particular, the aim of the Forum is to:
• engage the community of interest in Captured Persons (CPERS) issues;
• provide participants with the Legal Framework in relation with CPERS, Prisoners of War (POW) and the detention operations;
• introduce experience and perspective of the Subject Matter Experts in the field of detention;
• provide Lessons Learned collection from Russian Ukrainian War;
• discuss and share best practices in the field of detention operations;
• share knowledge on actions to be taken during the chain of capture (Intelligence Exploitation, Medical treatment of CPERS and POW, Biometrics of CPERS and POW);
• present outcomes after exercises where detention operations were one of the training objectives.
