Due to the unprecedented situation caused by COVID-19 pandemic, the NATO Military Police Centre of Excellence (NATO MP COE) supported the POL Ministry of National Defence’s appeal for blood collection, and therefore organised an honorary blood donation. The initiative took place on the 1st April 2020 on the NATO compound, located in Potockiego Street, and involved staff of the said COE , the 3rd NATO Signal Battalion, NATO Force Integration Unit in Poland, Joint Force Training Centre, as well as its Support Unit, and the Doctrine and Training Centre of the Polish Armed Forces. The event could not have been held without a mobile blood donation bus which was provided by the Regional Blood Donation Centre. Numerous participation of the servicemen and their relatives contributed to this noble gesture for which we would like to express sincere and deep appreciation.
