The aim of this forum is to share experience in the scope of close protection within a multinational environment to strengthen understanding of complex close protection considerations in NATO operations (including the necessity of cross functional and inter-institutional cooperation), as well as collaboration to foster security as a whole.

The intent of the MPCPF19 is to put it under the umbrella of education and training of Close Protection Members (CPM) and Close Protection Leaders (CPL) from the national and international perspective. Reprentatives of training institutions are invited to attend the event and to discuss their specific recruitment/selection, requirements and contents of trainings/courses to be completed in order to become a CPM or CPL. Furthermore, the participants of the meeting will discuss a need to develop an international CP course with the focus on CPL.
