A visit paid to the 26th International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO in Kielce

On 06th September, the NATO Military Police Centre of Excellence’s international and national personnel paid a visit to the 26th International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO in Kielce, Poland. For more than a quarter of a century, MSPO has attracted the defence sector's most important companies and personalities to Kielce. As one of the Center’s core functions is to foster interoperability, and the institution is obliged to follow up-to-date technologies in terms of Military Police capabilities. This can be achieved by establishing and maintaining cooperation with industry channel. It can be fulfilled by participation in the international military fair where a wide range of equipment as well as technologies and software is presented by industries and companies from all over the world.
Almost 28,000 square metres of exhibition space was the display for 618 companies, including 330 Polish firms during MSPO and LOGISTYKA 2018 fair. Targi Kielce hosted dozens of companies which represented the 27 countries, including companies from Germany (48),Great Britain (34) and the United States (30). The expo was visited by a record-breaking number of official foreign delegations – 67 official missions from 43 countries, including 6 headed by ministers. The four-day expo hosted almost 22,000 business insiders. This year's expo was a magnet for 16 thousand army, defense and military aficionados from different military units, police, penitentiary services, border guards, military schools etc.
The POL Military Gendarmerie presented their newest equipment. The central of the MG presentation was intervention vehicle SandCat dedicated to the antiterrorist activities, quad Polaris prepared for the long distance reconnaissance and assault activities as well as Opel Insignia dedicated to the MP tasks.  The Military Gendarmerie Specialized Unit presented weapon used by the Special Branch of the Military Police in Warsaw and equipment used by soldiers of the Special Action Department and the VIP Close Protection Department. Military Gendarmerie Department in Krakow demonstrate the equipment used for the implementation of preventive tasks (additionally POL SOF unit presented SandCat with the ramp also used by MP). All of the equipment was not present during the NATO MP COE’s personnel in Minsk Mazowiecki and could be presented during our courses or events.
It has broaden the minds concerning military equipment and helped to realize how huge diversity of sophisticated equipment is presently offered by companies.
Everybody was enthralled.
The visit has shown how relevant and crucial cooperation among the military institutions is and finally how significant the relationships among the people are.
