Following the consistent procedure described in Bi-SC 75-7 Education and Individual Training Directive the Workshop participants defined the aim, target group (trainees) and the course content.
Furthermore, learning objectives were identified and these were mostly associated with planning, advice, command, co-ordination, leadership, liaison, communication and the responsibilities of senior MP management in relation to the MP functions. The Workshop participants created a solid course basis. The future course might include up-to-date seminars, group discussions, as well as lectures focused on the latest trends for the integration of an MP concept in operations and exercises.
What mainly differentiates this course from any other is that the course itself will address a highly specific MP mindset which enables to operate, communicate and co-operate in a complex multinational environment.
It is expected that this new course can be offered to the MP community in mid-2016.
Our special thanks are conveyed to the external MP Subject Matter Experts. Their contribution and valuable knowledge were of extreme importance.
